Dear IC Imagine Stakeholders,
As this year draws to a close, we want to share exciting news about a transition that is underway within our school community.
The recent year has seen significant changes in terms of IC Imagine’s governance and direction. IC Imagine was able to establish its own governing board, obtain non-profit status and purchase its permanent campus. We continue to see many parent volunteers both inside and outside the classroom and are thankful for your continued support of our learning community and the great IC Imagine family.
With all of these wonderful changes, the leadership of the school and Imagine Community Partners (“ICP”) have come together to talk about the roles ICP fills at the school and what it looks like going forward. After much discussion, the ICI Board decided to create a Development Committee to oversee all the school’s fundraising efforts as well as stakeholder relations and events. To this end and so as not to duplicate efforts, ICP voted to dissolve effective July 31, 2018, the end of its current fiscal year, and the Development Committee will absorb and continue the great work ICP has begun.
We assure you this change is a positive step forward for our community. ICI will continue to need the involvement of parents and the Development Committee will be seeking volunteers to help with events and other programs within our school, just like ICP has previously done. You, our families, are a paramount part of our learning community. As we continue to move forward, we encourage you to share your time, talents and treasures to support our Champions and Collegiate Leaders as your family dynamic allows.
